Clare Virginia 3D/4D Pictures

Matt and I went back to prenatal impressions this week to have a 3D/4D ultrasound taken of Miss Clare. We got some really great pictures! She is facing down and her nose is pressed against the wall of the uterus, which is why her nose may look darker in spots. We did a side by side of Clare, William and Grace, and I think the consensus is that Clare's picture looks most similar to William's! I can't wait to see what she looks like in person. The adorable pictures are below.

We finalized baby #3's name and it will be...

Clare Virginia Orosz!

We really didn't have any other contenders. We had a very short list from Grace's naming game and this combination popped up then stuck.

As always, I am a big fan of having a saint name in our children's full name. Clare is for St. Clare of Assisi, who is connected to one of our family's favorite saints, St. Francis of Assisi. My grandmother named my mom's middle name Frances (the female version in honor of St. Francis). St. Clare was a follower of St. Francis and the Franciscan discipline. When we were growing up, we often visited the Franciscan Monastery in Washington, D.C. on the weekends and though I haven't been back in ages, I remember vividly how calm, peaceful and beautiful it is there.

Then Virginia is simply because I love my home state and we think it makes a great name too.

Only 10 more weeks until we get to meet Clare Virginia! In the meantime, I get to order all the monogrammed goodies that come with having a name :)

William and Grace's school pictures are back! AND I love them! I signed up for the "sibling" school pictures and was able to watch the photographer take their pictures because you had to bring them both in before school started. Grace of course was totally working it and William was so sweet trying to hold Grace's hand and guide her in the right direction for the photographer. Here are some of the best ones!

Patriotic Parade

Happy Patriotic Day!

William and Grace had their first school event of the year last month. The Patriotic Parade! The parade takes place on 9/11 and the Winter Park Fire Department is kind enough to put on a short parade for the Methodist School students. The kids made all sorts of "GO USA!" decorations and William was pretty excited to wave his American flag. William knows the Pledge of Allegiance now and apparently gets to hold the flag for his class in the morning when they say the Pledge. So he's big on America! As always, the kids are adorable and I got to run back and forth between their two classes to try and take pictures of William and Grace. Grace was not a huge fan of the fireman that walked up to give high-fives. I remember she was terrified of the fireman when we did the WPFD tour back in April too. The trucks were a big hit though!

28 weeks

I had my 28 week appointment on Friday, which included the tasty glucose test. I looked online today and the results came back as normal.

As usual the rest of the appointment was pretty uneventful. The best type of appointment. I did get a Tdap shot because I guess even though I had one with Grace, it is advised to do again because the immune system is diminished when pregnant. I got the flu shot with the kids earlier in the week when we visited their pediatrician. 

The baby's heartbeat was 152 and she is measuring right on spot with her due date. Now I am officially in the third trimester and my appointments will be bi-weekly! I can't believe we are at that point now. I go back after our trip to Virginia. I see the hematologist in two weeks as well, which I expect will include a prescription for my low platelets. 

All is well though! I'm beginning to get hip and back pain after a lot of activity aka every day because we are always on the go. Nothing terrible, but I have now started feeling "pregnant." I'm happy I lasted this long without any aches or pains. 

On Wednesday I'm going to have 3D/4D pictures taken of the little girl. Hopefully she is in a good position for some great facial feature pictures! Fingers crossed!

William writes "William"

Tonight is the first time William has written his name by himself! I am so proud of him and was actually not quite expecting it. He was sitting next to me at the computer and started to write out some letters on a piece of paper, which isn't unusual because he does know his name starts with a "W" and the next letter is "i." Then I started to spell out the rest of his name and he began to write the letters. He's practiced writing some letters, but not in the order of his name necessarily. It was so fun to see! I took video of him writing his name again. See below!
