Clare's 1st Birthday!

Clare celebrated her FIRST birthday ... in December 2016! We can't believe she is 1. Still. And it is now March 2017. Many people have commented at her birthday on "how is that possible?!" So our baby is now 1 - not 0 like William would say leading up to her birthday.

We celebrated her birthday at the playground in front of our house on her actual birthday. Simple playground fun with lunch and cake served. In the morning we relaxed at home and gave her birthday presents. We got her a chair for the playroom (the kids love their little chairs more than sitting on a couch in the playroom!), a puzzle and her godparents sent her an adorable gray horse. After breakfast and presents, we let her take her morning nap - as best as possible since her morning nap is slowly getting pushed back later and later. She took a little cat nap and was ready to party.

Likes her chair! William picked out the chair.

Did my best making the "one" with gum paste

She loved her cake and loved playing on the playground. A great party for our baby Clare!

Grace's 2nd Birthday Celebrations!

Birthday celebration collage!
It's nearly October and we still need to talk about Grace's birthday celebrations! It was nearly a week of fun for our little girl. We started with a weekday birthday party with friends at the splash pad in Winter Park. It was a great setup for an August birthday. Water must be included when your birthday is in August! The kids splashed around, had Chick-fil-a for lunch and cupcakes for dessert. Home in time for naps!

The weekend arrived and we went to Downtown Disney and had a birthday lunch at the T-Rex Restaurant. A very girly restaurant, right?! Ha! William and Grace loved it. The dinosaurs move around the restaurant and there are "thunderstorms" every so often. It's quite entertaining.

Ahh! It's a dinosaur!

We opened presents on Sunday morning even though her birthday was Monday. Figured we could relax and enjoy the non-work day all together. Grace got a pair of pink Uggs from Mama and Daddy (that I think are SO adorable!) and a Minnie Mouse dress up kit and purse from Grandma Doreen! The Minnie Mouse "life-size" balloon was a huge hit too!

Happy birthday to Princess Grace!
See crown on her head? So funny!

Uggs and Minnie. What more does a 2 year old need?

Sunday evening we had dinner at home with the rest of the Orosz family. We served ice cream pie for dessert! My favorite! The cousins all played and Grace opened some presents from family. A baby doll and a tea set! Though Grace says she only serves chocolate milk from her tea set. So funny!

THEN at school on Tuesday, Grace's class celebrated her birthday. I brought in funfetti cookies for the kids and Grace got a candle in her cookie. Delicious snack for Grace and friends!

And that concludes the 2nd birthday celebrations! The day of her actual birthday (Monday) we went to the beach for the day, which is certainly a fun time for Grace. She loves the water. So a great birthday for our little lady. Cheers to turning 2! We love you, Grace!

William's 3rd Birthday Celebrations

William before his playground party!

Lots of celebrating for William's 3rd birthday. We hosted a fun play date with friends as the party. It worked out really great because we did it on MLK Day in the morning when everyone was out of school and it was before Matt and I headed out of town for a couple days to see Garth Brooks in Boston. The theme of the party was "party animals" and we had a balloon twister stop by to twist some fun animals up for the kids while they played on the playground. Worked out great and the kids had a blast!

Ready for happy cake

When we got home from Boston on Sunday it was William's actual birthday. We had dinner at home and more happy cake! William got a couple presents too.

I'm 3!

The next morning Matt had made reservations for Chef Mickey at the Contemporary several months ago. William got to eat breakfast with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Donald running around to say hello. Matt had to get back to work and so me, William and Grace headed to the Magic Kingdom to ride Pirates of the Caribbean and Buzz Lightyear.

The NEXT day at school his teacher asked if I'd bring in treats for his birthday. It was my week for snacks and so I brought in pretzels, cheese sticks and tiny little cupcakes for all the kids. We sang "Happy Birthday" to William and they all dug in. Grace joined as well and pretended she was a classmate too. She hopped in a chair and waited for her snack to arrive!

A very fun birthday for William and a very fun past year! Below is a little photo collage of the past year. Just funny and cute photos from January last year to right before his birthday.
