Easter Bunny!

Easter Bunny 2014
This past week our friends the Collins came to visit. We had a great time with them at the beach on Sunday then on Monday me and Erica decided we'd bring the kids to see the Easter Bunny at the mall. William has only met the Baldwin Park Easter Bunny at the Annual Easter Egg Hunt, so this was a first for him as well as Grace!

It worked out perfectly. Erica and I got there with William, Grace and her son Cole around 10:30a and there wasn't a person in line. We walked right up. William was not interested in going close to the bunny at first, but once he saw Cole was safe with the Easter Bunny he was open to sitting on my lap next to the Easter Bunny to take a picture with Grace.

After the Easter Bunny photo, Cole, William and Grace sat in their "spring" themed photo prop section and took a quick picture. None of them looked per usual!

The next Easter activity on our schedule was the Baldwin Park Easter Egg Hunt. We went this weekend. Cousin Max came along too. It was Grace and Max's first Easter Egg Hunt. Grace sat on the sidelines this year though. Last year, every time William went to pick up an egg he dropped the egg he had already picked up as he leaned over and the basket leaned over. This year he kept all his eggs in one basket and came out with a bunch. He wanted to hug the Easter Bunny (since they are now buddies after the mall trip), but the line was pretty long and we detoured to a jump house. William and I went down the jump house slide together.

Lots of fun so far! We are going to decorate Easter Eggs with a buddy later this week. Then Easter this weekend! I think this holiday will be a favorite of William's because when else do you get to see Peter Rabbit (his hero) this often?!

2 More Teeth

Grace has two more teeth coming in. The top right tooth broke through the  Thursday before last (10th) and her top left tooth broke through a few days later on the 13th. She seemed a little testy when those two were cutting in, but other than that no changes. Here are the two little chompers coming in nicely!
