We have entered the 3rd trimester! Where has the time gone? I am certainly feeling the 3rd trimester though... talk about tired, tired, tired... the 2nd pregnancy is certainly different from the 1st. Nap when you want, sit when you want, eat when you want, the first time around. Not so much the second time around when you have a little boy named William to chase! He loves to run and explore. Happy to always be on the go. I leave the stroller behind every so often because I think he prefers walking (running rather) by himself. Those skinny little legs sure are deceiving!

Back to baby #2. Here are a few belly shots from the past few weeks. Not as official as William's belly updates, but we do what we can around here! As you can see I usually think about it when I'm at the gym ha! The 27 weeks picture is the day before 28 weeks, so I guess it can kind of count as 28?

I had my 28 week appointment today, which included the glucose test. Yum-o! The lime version actually doesn't taste so bad going down, but once it finally sits there my stomach gets upset. We made it through and the nurse drew blood an hour later. I'll find out the results in a couple days. Fingers crossed it's negative. The rest of the appointment went well. Heartbeat great. The doctor thinks baby girl's head may be still up top (at my 20 weeks ultrasound she was head up), but wasn't positive. She wasn't too worried about it and said there is plenty of time for her to move/flip. Another plus about this appointment was the brand new building my OB/GYN is now occupying. Every time I was sent a follow-up survey about my appointments in the past, I made sure to note their previous building was a dump. I guess they heard me :) Brand new building with no carpeting and goofy wallpaper/artwork. Sorry - that had nothing to do with the baby - just more exciting for me.
My platelets last month where at 96 - eh, not great because they were below 100, but not an emergency. Interestingly, they have hovered between 94-100-some the past few months without any medicine. With William they dropped quite low on several occasions. I need to make an appointment with my hematologist still because the 96 won't cut it on D-day. I'll likely need to take the same prescription from last time. No rhogam shot because Matt and I are a match made in heaven - we have the same blood type. Took a platelet blood draw and I was on my way. So as you can see, baby girl is doing quite well all around!
I made the rest of my appointments for the remainder of the pregnancy, which is such a crazy thought! The due date will be here soon. William came 3 days early - what will happen this time??
